I made an order a week ago for my cat
I made an order a week ago for my cat, and when I check online for my order status it tells me "Waiting for veterinary approval". When I call customer service I get a message saying that I called during peak hours, and then it hangs up. With Chewy.com it usually took prescription medication a maximum of 3-4 days to get to me. VetRxDirect is a horrible place.

I'm very sorry you weren't able to reach any technicians at the time you called. There is an option to leave a voicemail and a technician should respond that same business day. Our standard procedure is to contact your veterinarian directly either by fax or email, and if we do not receive a response within one business day, we will send a follow-up request. In this case, I am not seeing we ever received a response. I do apologize for the negative experience you had with our pharmacy and appreciate your feedback regarding this concern.

Horrible customer service—buy from your veterinarian and promote small business.
Ordered Percortan-V to the tune of $180 and it expires in 6months! With the dosage my pet is on, that vial lasts a full year. Customer service refused to allow a return of an unopened box, an exchange, a partial refund or even a coupon. Just too bad so sad—that was an expensive lesson. Buy elsewhere people, you will be glad you did

I am so sorry that our return policies need to be so strict with prescription medications. You are correct that the expiration dates of our stock of Percorten-V are usually only about six months out. I understand that you will not be ordering from us again, but we do ask that customers contact us about expiration dating on our current stock of drugs if they have a concern. Customers can email us at [email protected]. I also urge you to please discuss with your veterinarian how long you should be using one vial of the Percorten-V for the health of your pets. The drug packaging indicates that it can be stored at room temperature until the stated expiration date, but that once the vial is broached, it should be used within four months. I'm sorry again that we were not able to satisfy you. I hope that you have found better product elsewhere.
