Bringing Christ to the world.
Ours may be a simple, once a week, uploading of an edited version of our Sunday service from St Matthew's church, but it means a lot to those "shut in" or unable to attend the service. Our minister's sermons are so good that several of the congregation log in to hear them again. All in all, being able to use Vimeo to move videos from the "cutting table" to the church website (and the world), makes us more effective as a Christian Church serving the Community.
Used to be great. In the past 2 years it seems to have gone downhill for some reason. Clickbait emails telling me my plan is about to renew when I've cancelled it. Expert feature removed, or just pointless to have if you do already have it. Clients have to sign up just to see your videos now. I was a loyal paid subscriber for 9 years, but after Vimeo forcing clients to sign up, that was the last straw. It was a good run.

Vimeo is a frustrating platform
Vimeo is a frustrating platform. Its layout and menus change frequently. The analytics are useless: completely inaccurate. The video quality is good, I will grant that. But mostly it's overpriced and unreliable.

Vimeo didn't work very well for me on Shopify. And, adding the links to mute the video and add looping was very hard to set up and did not integrate well with Shopify. I tried using a few different videos, but I just couldn't get the settings right. I'm not beyond thinking this was a user issue and not a Vimeo issue.
