The delivery was good. However...
This delivery was good and I have no complaints about it. However, I have been a Vita cost customer for several years. The quality of Vita cost since being bought by iHerb has greatly deteriorated. There are MANY fewer sales, many valued items have been discontinued, and other items are more frequently out of stock. Several items which I had ordered multiple times in the past and are now discontinued, I now buy elsewhere: e.g., Imagine Organic Low Sodium Vegetable Broth, Eden Organic (canned) Green Lentils, and Rao Pizza Sauce. I understand that Iherb wants to make as much profit as possible but it is unfortunate that it is at the cost of seriously weakening a once great company.

Kroger shouldn't have sold you to iHerb!
It was great as always for the 20+ years of being a customer, but I can see the negative impact of Kroger's selling you off to iHerb; no more of those terrific Kroger's brands to buy like Simple Truth. Had to order some stuff from iHerb instead but not as impressed with the selection. I can see the push to move to iHerb but that may not happen for me as the selections are not as good.

When we received box with our flour we were surprised at the attention to packaging that was applied to product.

Time to move on
Since a change in ownership, orders are taking longer for delivery, and more importantly I no longer see site wide sales. Time to move on and find another vitamin and supplement website or just use amazon.
$49.99 flat fee for PO BOX. There is no language on website re: shipping flat fees for PO Box vs. home/office address. If you do not meet the spending threshold for free shipping, you will be charged $49.99 to ship to a PO BOX vs. $8.99 to ship to a home address.

Great convenience, but terrible packing.
I love the convenience of being able to buy a big variety of things (some of which are hard to find elsewhere) all in one place and at reasonable prices, but I have had to contact them four times in one year because of problems with their packing. Damaged items, missing items...one time, I even got an item I didn't order. They always refund me right away and I want to keep ordering from them, but I don't want to have to keep going through this. Plus, I'm concerned for their packers. Are they being forced to choose speed over carefully packing things? I'm getting the feeling that Vitacost is not a good company to work for, if that's the case. And if it's not, I'm sorry, but they need to be trained better. (I actually do packing & shipping for a living!)

Missing item not sent
An item was left out of my order & instead of sending the replacement as requested, they refunded me, said that is their policy. Ridiculous. They actually said if I reordered, the same mistake would probably occur again. I think the iHerb takeover is a disaster & plan to stay away from both companies.

Vitacost is still a great place to order from
I have been buying products from vitacost for a while now. They are very consistent with delivering the products I order on time. They are also usually very accurate with getting my order correct. However my last order there was a mistake made in the order. But customer service was very helpful in solving the issue. That was the only issue I have had with vitacost. It doesn't change the fact I love to order from them. They are consistently good, especially with having discounts regularly and flexible shipping options. Overall I'm very satisfied with vitacost.
