We are pleased with the finished but a bear to put together
We are pleased with the finished product. For the price, it was not easy to put together; it was time consuming and the last pieces needed to be glued in to place. One of the last pieces was cracked. They did send a replacement piece but only after I sent them a picture of the defective piece. Customer service could have been friendlier and It would have been nice if they had trusted me that the piece was defective rather than making me prove it.

The product itself is good quality and the custom finish looks exactly as described. The directions to put it together was terrible. We went by pictures from the web site to construct. We actually had to measure and use a power saw to cut the pieces. I don’t remember reading anything about having to use tools and cutting in the fine print when ordering. If you don’t have a lot of time or power tools to put together this product is not for you!

Thank you for the review. Yes, you ordered a designer kit. The only thing that has to be cut is the molding. there is not a way that we can cut to fit unless we are on site. Therefore we simply send sticks of molding to add once the kit is put in place. This is standard in all kit racking.
The new unit we received didn't work. The second one doesn't work either. Customer service is very slow to respond, we are going on 3 months. Very dissapointed.

I was very specific about delaying shipment. You all are VERY USER UNFRIENDLY. You shipped expensive racks that were left outside my home when told not to do this. Could never get a phone response. Depend too much on email which is very passive-aggressive.

Jeremy was a great resource and coordinated my ideas with the RW design dept. We had a few design changes along the way and Jeremy stayed patient and helpful throughout. And I never felt any pressure to rush or finalize the order. The design work was fabulous and the final product is now installed and looks amazing! I would absolutely recommend Wine Racks for anyone building out a Wine Cellar.

Cellar in Overland Park Kansas
From design to ordering to customer follow up, the experience was great! Big project that had to be right and it was!! Love the fact that I got phone calls to confirm heights, and my availability when shipment was occurring. As you can see from the photos, my 1000 bottle cellar is perfect and I appreciate everything that your company does. Cheers!
