Awful customer service, not surprised at other reviews
I've had an awful experience with Worx. I started buying their (generally very good) tools earlier in the summer, using Amazon.
The Worx website itself had some good deals on last week, so I decided to buy direct - I wish I hadn't!
The problems I had:
1. Poor website with access issues.
2. Order lost by courier.
3. Customer Services number goes straight to voicemail, and the mailbox is too full to even take a message.
4. I got through to someone in technical support who advised that all Customer Service staff are now on annual leave and will be back in two weeks!
If there is this much trouble buying a tool, I dread to think what it would be like if I actually needed to make a warranty claim!
I'll start the process of returning my small collection of Worx tools to Amazon and buy from a different brand.
Such a shame as the tools themselves seem great.
After 2 years, my worx WG751.2 Nitro mower on/off switch failed. I called customer service and received the runaround until they told me the switch assembly is not available. I asked if the switch for the next generation of the mower was available and was told that isn't available. I asked about a replacement and was told that neither mower was available even though they are still selling it. Basically, the warranty on a Worx tool is useless. It's a made in China product and they don't stock parts. Typical for how these sellers operate. This the second Worx tool that's failed. Buyer beware!!
26 July 25 - Worx contacted me and after giving them some information, they sent me a brand new
WG752 mower. I did have to pay for shipping ($9.95) per warranty. So, I have reconsidered their warranty as good! The new mower is improved, however the bail switch is the same. Suggestion for consumers - when shutting the mower off, do not let the bail spring back. Release slowly.
Do not Buy - WORX VISION LAWN MOWER -
This piece of crap Never Ever functioned properly, it will get lost, trapped, stuck under cars and everything else not wanted but will NEVER return to Home.
I carried this junk back literally every day, waited for updates and hoped it would eventually become more intelligent - but time has come Nothing changes.
The battery died after 1 1/2 years as well so that’s another 80€ on top of the 2000€ WASTE.
Do. Not. Buy. Worx.
Worx doesn’t Work
UPDATE:
I bought a Mammotion 800 and I can’t believe how well it all works - it does its job, returns home, has an integrated flash light to work at night, you can drive it yourself with the App AND even SEE what your robot sees!
If you are looking for a lawn mower - Extreme Recommendation for Mammotion !!!
Have purchased 2 sets of Worx tools they worked ok for about 5 years. The last was their discontinued 56V series. Now the batteries have died and to replace them will cost more than 2 tools I purchased. I will buy another string trimmer & lawn blower, but it won’t be a Worx product. They don’t support their products with replacement batteries long enough.
Recently bought the cordless lawnmower together with a strimmer, was a little cautious as other reviewers had mentioned the battery power, yes it is not long lasting but enough to cut a large size lawn. The strimmer however best I’ve used, did the job much better than the flymo I’d recently purchased which only after a couple of mins the wire broke and found it fiddly.
I have quite a number of worx tool and lawn care items. I have never had a problem and am quite satisfied. However the worx product registration process is terrible. When you go to find your product, you’re presented with a list of probably 500 product numbers in no logical order. Therefore you spend 20 minutes trying to find your product. This should be a simple technical solution but worx makes you feel like you’re on the Show Severence presented with a long list of meaningless numbers. It’s really bad and makes you feel like they don’t want you to register your product.
Customer service second to none
Repaired my cordless angle grinder (4years old) no charge !!! I am gradually replacing all my power tools with the worx range, they are lasting longer than most. does what they say only better
I own at least 7 to 8 Worx power tools. All of them work flawlessly. I watch youtube to troubleshoot some of my issues. Now i use these tools for around the house for small and medium projects.
However. If you have to depend on these tools for your job. Then this is not the product. Look at Milwaukee, Makida, DeWalt tools instead. Yeah, there're more expensive. But dependable if your job requires it.
I have several WORX tools including: cordless lawnmower, jigsaw, and cordless pressure washer. I can't fault any of them. My next purchase will be their portable dust blower to dry my motorcycle.
Ordered a lawnmower and it was delivered in three days. Unfortunately the battery charger was damaged but I contacted Worx and Olie said that the best choice was to send a replacement. New charger received by the end of the week. Excellent customer service and now registered for 5 year warranty.
Registration for warranty does seem a bit to complex. Now hoping for a dry spell of weather to give lawns a final trim.
Ordered a lawnmower, this was subsequently lost by DPD, when it was eventually delivered it was broken. Nearly a month in I’m still taking with worx trying to get it picked up so that I can be refunded.
I have many of there tools. Extremely pleased with all of them. I have there snowblower which like all there power tools is a workhorse. I hit something hard and cracked the auger ,this was the 2nd Colorado winter I had been using the snowblower. I called worx and explained what had happened. Within a week I had a brand new Snowblower delivered. Customer service was beyond expectation. I have recommended this brand to many friends they have all been very pleased about quality and performance.
I've had my little cordless screwdriver for a few years now! It is an awsome little tool especially with it's handy automatic bit changer.I love it. It is well made and has helped me with many projects. Just the fact that you don't need to search to change bits is worth it's cost. I certainly recommend it to anyone pro or dodo like me.
Full warranty claim on my strimmer. From start to finish absolutely a first class service. Thanks to Ed and Emma. Albeit I couldn’t access my account, WORX sorted it very efficiently and professionally.
Thanks WORX
I have allot of Worx tools, garden and home. Recently, my Wg186e trimmer was making a weird noise. Had for a couple of years. Great product. Mu go to for long grass.
Called Amazon, just rude.
Called Worx. What great service. Sent the receipt from Sept 22. Patrick in CS. so helpful, Oli also. I has mentioned I had all the nitro attachments also. Wasn't sure what to do, as Patrick said he didn't have the WG186 e anymore. Would replace with the new up to date one. Anyway, he told me to send the attachments back, with the proof of purchase. I did, all picked up by DPD. New trimmer arriving today. Worx is refunding the attachments at what I paid. Fantastic. I love worx tools. Great customer service, friendly, helpful.
What amazing custom service I got from Emma. I bought the cordless jet wash plus from Amazon and unfortunately the wand was faulty and water was shooting out the side of it. Instead of returning it I sent an email to them. That was yesterday. 09:31 this morning I got a reply asking for a photo. They had this by 10:30. By 1:30 they had agreed it was faulty and dispatched a new bit. What great service. Thank you Emma.
