TERRIBLE
I purchased a treadmill from CitySports in May 2025, and within the first week I reported getting electric shocks from it. Their response was to dismiss my concerns and tell me to “put a towel on the armrest.” Since then the treadmill has deteriorated further and now produces a burning smell and overheating belt after 20 minutes of use, which makes it unsafe. Instead of honouring the 12-month warranty they confirmed to me in writing before purchase, CitySports have repeatedly fobbed me off. They have asked me to provide “videos” of a smell (which is impossible) and keep stalling instead of arranging a repair, replacement, or refund. What makes this worse is that I’ve since seen many other reviews with customers reporting the exact same issues — burning smell, overheating, electrical faults — and CitySports have ignored them too. This company does not respect consumer law or its own warranty promises. Their products are unsafe, and their customer service is dismissive and unhelpful. I would strongly warn anyone to avoid buying from CitySports.
