I’ve subscribed to Musescore, i regret it
I’ve subscribed to Musescore, it came about mostly because I didn’t know Musescore.co and Musescore.org are chalk and cheese and just a little because I believed I would be getting a wide choice of piano music, specifically beginner level, to extent my playing. Now, with some experience of using the site i regret subscribing. There might be some good stuff on this website but the site is a minefield of trickery, traps popups and threats and extra fees for this, more to pay for that, I am scared to click anything. I did find a Blues course which I liked, by Aurthur Bird, this could justify my Musescore £39.99 subscription I thought, then I discovered it free to view on Youtube. All in all, any good stuff there is is cloaked with confusion, the site is a basically a money grabber. It’s not an outright scam but definitely a money grabber, tread carefully. For the record I also have subscriptions to TomPlay, Flowkey and SimplyPiano, all of these are excellent sources of piano music to play at all levels and they are honest, you get what you think you are getting and there are no traps, you are left alone to enjoy what you have paid for.
