Prices were very competitive but Customer Services could be better. Ordered an item recently from their EU warehouse which is based in Germany. Normal deliveries take about 3-5 days. But I knew there may be delays due to the current global situation. However, when the borders closed due to the new Covid strain in the UK things got complicated. GLS, the courier's used by Tomtop, cancelled/postponed all deliveries to the UK. This I don't have an issue with and I'm sympathetic given the situation. However, the issue was with a lack of updates. Tomtop didn't appear to be aware of the situation with GLS and kept saying to wait a bit longer. I was having to do all the chasing! Then when I tried to cancel the order, was told not possible as it was in transit. So the only option was to wait with no idea if and when I might receive it. To my surprise, the tracking that had not been updated for a week, had an update to show the 3D printer I ordered was in the UK with Parcel Force. Within 24hrs of that update I received my printer. I am extremely happy with the printer, my son is over the moon albeit a belated Xmas present. Despite all the issues, overall I'm generally happy but for the lack of communication and updates given. I will still use Tomtop for future orders, but not for items I need sooner than later.
