Problem sorted but after a lot of stress
Absolutely shocking customer service from @Fanatics. I ordered a Manchester United shirt with Bruno on the back – a standard player shirt, not a personalised name. The size was too big, so I simply wanted to exchange it. After over a week and back and forth i have finally recived a full refund today. Also because of all the headache caused @fanatics didn't want the top returning. I'm moving my rating from 1 star to 4 star not 5 because of the stress caused. I wil now continue to use my favourite site again for my tops. If I'd bought the exact same shirt from Manchester United or Adidas, they would have accepted the return without any issues. Fanatics kept me waiting for over a week. One of their customer service representatives even emailed me to say that, because it was a birthday present, they would make an exception and allow an exchange or return. Then, after making me wait all that time, they emailed to say they were refusing it. I've been a customer for over two years and never had any problems until now. Instead of helping a loyal customer, they've left me stuck with a shirt I can't use as the birthday gift it was meant to be. I could understand if it had my own name printed on the back, but it's Bruno Fernandes – a standard player name that they could easily resell. Based on this experience, I won't be buying from Fanatics again. If you want peace of mind and decent customer service, I'd recommend buying directly from Adidas or the Manchester United store instead.
