Ecoflow stood by Kickstarter backer DELTA 1300 (lifetime warranty)
Brilliant support for an original Kickstarter backer I had brilliant support from EcoFlow, and especially from Christopher, who handled my case with real care and flexibility throughout. I was an original UK Kickstarter backer of the DELTA 1300 back in 2019, but was living in China when I needed support. Given that this was an early Kickstarter unit, several years old, and I was dealing with it internationally while preparing to move back to the UK, I honestly thought the process might become awkward or rigid. Instead, EcoFlow honoured the warranty and approached the situation in a practical and generous way. What impressed me most was that they did not hide behind the age of the unit, the fact it was a Kickstarter product, or the complexity of the cross-border situation. They agreed I could send the faulty unit to Shenzhen from China, and then dispatch the replacement to my UK address as I was returning home. That was an extremely thoughtful and sensible solution, and far better than the sort of box-ticking support many companies would have offered. Christopher was responsive, clear, fair and solution-oriented throughout. At every stage, I felt the case was being handled properly and in good faith. For a company to stand by an original Kickstarter backer years later, and to do so across two countries during an international move, says a great deal. This experience gave me real confidence that EcoFlow stands behind its products and values long-term customers. A genuinely excellent customer service experience, and one I am very happy to recognise publicly. 5 stars!
