No longer trust this site
Been a customer of this site for several years and on the whole have had some decent personal items. Went to purchase a phone cover and this time the site wanted to validate the payment card I was using. I have used my payment method on this site many times before with no problems, but now suddenly my card is suspicious. To make my humble purchase I was required to provide everything an identity theft merchant would require: copy of my passport with photo; copy of my driving licence; copy of a utility bill showing my name and address plus more. I refuse to give these personal details to a company based in China. My bank checks it's me by texting or emailing my phone - that should be enough for an online shopping site. After several years, I will no longer be using this site as I no longer trust them. My personal data is valuable and I do not intend to splash it all over the internet for a phone cover!!
