Buyer Beware — My Experience Was Extremely Frustrating
Do not be misled by the low advertised online price, as I experienced firsthand. In my view, the initial quote was significantly lower than the actual costs and the painstaking effort required to complete the process. After I registered and made a payment through Affirm, the company began soliciting additional purchases almost immediately, with frequent emails promoting upgrades and supplementary products. The impression kit cost me thirty dollars upfront. Unless you have prior experience with dental impressions, getting an accurate impression on the first attempt can be extremely challenging. My initial impression was deemed unacceptable. I was advised that a 3D scan, costing approximately three hundred dollars, was necessary, or about two hundred dollars if I traveled approximately one and a half hours outside my location because there were no nearby facilities. This was merely the beginning of the issues. Communicating with the company proved to be arduous. I had to make international calls, deal with an English barrier, leave messages, send multiple emails, and wait several days for callbacks. If I missed a call, reconnecting was notably difficult. This process took two to three weeks before I finally spoke with a representative. Subsequently, I scheduled consultations via Google Meet. Despite scheduling weeks in advance, the representative often failed to attend. I waited patiently until I received emails requesting rescheduling. The subsequent appointments followed a similar pattern. On the third attempt, I finally connected with a representative—forty-five minutes late. The excuse given was that they were hosting a birthday party in the boiler room. I found this explanation unprofessional and unacceptable, particularly given the weeks I had spent seeking assistance. At this point, I requested a refund. This request initiated an additional two weeks of emails, missed calls, and waiting for a resolution specialist. Ultimately, I was informed that a full refund would not be provided. I was expected to cover the cost of the impression kits and contribute toward the credit card processing fees the company incurred. By the end of this process, I had invested approximately eight hours trying to resolve a matter that should not have become so complex. My overall experience was exceedingly frustrating from the outset. The advertised low price was misleading; additional costs, repeated delays, inadequate communication, missed appointments, and a cumbersome refund process compounded the difficulties. I strongly recommend that prospective customers thoroughly review the company's complete cost and refund policies before making any payments. Do not assume that the advertised price reflects the final amount payable. Buyer beware. Based on my experience, I would not endorse this company. Update 8/18/2026: Since I started this process on 7/18/2026, I have gone through a staggering 68 emails, spent 8 hours on calls, endured long hold times, left numerous voicemails, exchanged 16 app messages, and waited days for responses—all just to get a resolution. After disputing with Affirm and arguing back and forth, the resolution specialist finally agreed to process a full refund to my Affirm account. It's important to mention that during this ordeal, I was asked to remove my review, but I chose not to. As of now, I still have not received any refund for the initial impression kit fees or for the time I wasted. ***Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company to save yourself countless hours of frustration. You’ll likely end up just as satisfied, if not more, with a local orthodontist, and you'll pay a similar price without the headaches.
