Horrible aftersale warranty repair experience with Chuwi
Chuwi has been well known of promoting excellent products at very affordable price. Just because of this, my personal greed, I fell into this unbearable, desperate helpless situation for almost 6 months and still counting .... I received my MiniBook in early Jan-23. It did not have output signal from its HDMI port. I reported the defect to Chuwi after sale support team via email, providing the defect details and series number of my MiniBook. I was then given a HK address to ship back my MiniBook for warranty repair. I sent back to HK address and it was received by Chuwi on 10-Mar-23. I was told it will take 2-3 months for the repair. I waited patiently for 2.5 months and when I checked back with Chuwi about my repair status, I was told that it was still waiting for repair. Today, 6-Sep-23, almost 6 months of waiting time, I have no news of the repair status despite of many emails sent. I am so desperate with my warranty repair return. I posted almost daily in their Facebook page to ask for justice and reminding them about their poor aftersale service. It doesn't seems to help at all. The sales and marketing team seems working hard to promote their product campaign. Contrary, the aftersale support team are not responding to assist present defect issues. I received a message from Chuwi social media Facebook chat that due to my product -- MiniBook was purchased from sub-channel, they have no control over the 3rd party repair time.... I am so confused with her message. What does she mean by 3rd party repair? I sent in my MiniBook as according to official Chuwi aftersale support team's instruction after their verification on my defect details and series number. I do not know what is this company trying to do!? Mind you all whom are attracted to Chuwi products, you may try your luck to get their products. Let's hope your products do not have quality defect issues like mine. If not you will be like me waiting desperately and helplessly for 6 months and still counting..... BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, don't be fooled by your greed like me. This is my true experience with Chuwi.
