The transaction left me feeling.... dirty
I have purchased from Abe's in the past for both personal and business needs without issue. However, my recent experience has left me feeling.... dirty. I placed an order for $1800 and received an email instructing me to call to confirm my purchase. During the call, the salesman, Michael, informed me that the bundle I purchased did not include any accessories, not even a strap, charger and battery that was supposed to be included. He then proceeded to upsell me to a $2100 bundle. I felt pressured and uncomfortable but ultimately agreed to the upsell. When I received the package, I found that the additional $300 only included a larger memory card and battery, both of which were no-name brands. And zero indication that the battery is actually larger. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I feel that I was taken advantage of and misled by Michael's sales tactics. His pushy demeanor and fast-talking made it difficult to ask questions or express concerns. The product remains unopened on my desk, as I feel deeply uneasy about this transaction, and I might ask for an RMA. I doubt I will ever purchase from Abe's again due to this negative experience.
