Disappointing support for obvious data error
I generally like Oura, but my recent experience with support has been very disappointing. My historical sleep data contains clear duplicate and triplicate entries. For example, on 14 December 2024 the same sleep session appears three times, resulting in around 33 hours of recorded sleep in one day. These incorrect values also distort my historical sleep graphs. I contacted Oura, provided screenshots, and explained the issue in detail. However, the only solution offered was to delete data through the app. Because the deletion period has to end today, this would also remove around 1.5 years of valid health data. I specifically asked whether Oura could manually remove the incorrect duplicate records, but was told this was not possible. For a premium product where long-term data history is an important part of the value, I expected much better support for correcting an obvious error in Oura’s own data.
