Uncomfortable claims experience
Uncomfortable claims experience I contacted them regarding a straightforward accidental damage claim for my TV. What disappointed me was that only one question during the call was actually related to the TV incident. The rest of the questions focused on personal and financial matters, such as how many adults and children live in the household, whether I had ever been refused or declined insurance, and whether I had ever been bankrupt. I understand that insurance companies may have standard checks they need to carry out, but I felt uncomfortable with the extent and nature of the questions in relation to a simple TV accidental damage claim. I would have appreciated a clear explanation of why these questions were necessary. Overall, the experience left me feeling that I was being treated with suspicion rather than simply having my accidental damage claim assessed.
