Agoda's Unreliable Service Left Us Stranded Without Accommodation
I am extremely disappointed with the handling of our 7-night all-inclusive booking in the Maldives through Agoda. We booked well in advance, with non-refundable flights, and are travelling with a 6-month-old baby in December. When we contacted the resort to arrange transfers, we were informed that our booking couldn’t be guaranteed due to incorrect rates advertised by Agoda. Despite reaching out to Agoda, they have not provided any resolution. They refused to honour the original price or offer alternative accommodation in the Maldives. As we are travelling during peak season, finding alternative accommodations is not an option due to skyrocketing prices, which is why we booked early. Now, we are left with confirmed flights but no accommodation. This situation reflects extremely poorly on Agoda’s professionalism and reliability. We trusted their platform for a smooth booking experience, and they have completely failed to deliver.
