JJ's House

Do NOT order from this company!

l ordered what I thought would be an amazing dress for a photo shoot for my daughter's 10th birthday. Imagine my disappointment when the dress arrived and the waistband started nowhere near the waist area and the dress was literally held together and sewn. There is no seam. There are small patches of sequins missing from a dress that is all sequins. There's ruffling on each side of the skirt of the dress, where there's not supposed to be any ruffling and the ruffling starts and ends at two different points on each side. The neckline isn't deep enough and it's crooked. There are weird indentations on the sides. On the same "seam", you can see where it was sewn overhand, underhand, and there are spaces where it wasn't sewn at all. Some stitches are vertical. Some of them are a horizontal. I was 1st offered A: 20% ($14) refund with their suggestion to get alterations. So, I'm supposed to accept $14 on a $70 dress, and pay to get it altered. That's not happening. B: I was offered a 30% discount off "next purchase". Based on the poor quality of my initial purchase, I will never do business with them again. In response to my reply on their insulting offers, I was then offered a 35% refund and their excuse was because their dresses are custom-made , they would have a hard time reselling it. That poor quality dress should not have been shipped in the first place. I so wish this website will let me post photos. you have to see it to believe it. Update: I was offered a full refund if I paid the cost of having it shipped back. I said, "No". After writing negative reviews on this site and writing negative reviews on sitejabber and another site that let me post photos of the dress, I was again contacted by jjshouse and told that they would issue me a full refund and they would cover the cost of shipping the dress back, contingent on me removing the negative reviews. "By the way, if you are satisfied with our solution please remove the reviews for us. It is within my capacity to issue the refund to you ahead of time with the reviews removed, without the long time waiting for your package to arrive. So please send me the the return receipt after you mail the package to us." My Integrity isn't for sale. Even if I did remove my reviews, I honestly would not even trust them to issue a refund upon sending them the return receipt, after mailing the package. UPDATE: I was contacted by them again. They gave an excuse as to why they asked for reviews to be removed and proceeded to ask me to alter the stars! Dishonesty runs deeply through their veins. "We are sorry but let me explain the reason for the request for you. We would like you to remove the reviews on sitejabber and trustpilot first is because we need a strict application process for any refund issued to our customers due to our company rules. However, I am authorized to apply for the priority refund for you right now if the reviews are removed. And I will be able to have our financial department to issue the refund to you directly tomorrow after we receive your receipt. Also, if you can help remove the reviews, we are willing to refund you the return postage as well, which means we will issue a full refund of the dress value and return postage to you after we get your parcel back. Or if removing the reviews makes you feel uncomfortable, you can edit them to five or four-star ones and update the content, I can also apply for the priority to your refund." Update: After about 10 emails back and forth between JJs House and myself that ended with me basically cutting off contact, four days ago I recieved an unsolicited email from JJs House. It was an apology and they informed me they would be sending me a full refund (cost of dress plus shipping and handling ) and told me to keep the dress. The next day, I recieved my full refund.
