I used travel china guide for booking my train trips from Shanghai West to Nanjing and other Cities in 4th quarter 2017. I was impressed by two things. 1: the consultant that assisted me when I had to verify my identity and confirm my itinerary was prompt and helpful and 2: the instructions on their site regarding where to pick up tickets and directions were spot on and great... Not speaking/ reading the language the pictures on their site were very useful. I'm going to Hong Kong and China again in Feb 2018 and I'm booking my trains through them now. Thanks Travel China Guide UPDATE One potential negative thing might be their competitiveness. Although great customer service I notice they charge a 11USD booking fee, which I believe made them more expensive then me booking straight from the MTR website.
