Overpriced and Underwhelming: Disappointing Experience with Gift Baskets Overseas
I am extremely disappointed with an order I placed on behalf of the company I work for with Gift Baskets Overseas. We paid $200 for a gift basket, expecting a luxurious assortment of items. Instead, the recipient received a tin can of something, a chocolate bar, a snack-size bag of Lindt chocolate balls, a snack-size bag of fruit and nut mix, a sleeve of chocolate cookies, a small Toblerone bar, a snack-size bag of chocolate-covered cashews, and a snack-size bag of chips. This is absolutely not worth the price we paid! This has only been brought to my attention recently, hence the delay in writing this review. To make matters worse, this isn’t the first time this company has overcharged for an underwhelming gift basket. Earlier this year, I placed another order, not realizing the quality of my previous order. After becoming aware of the issues with the last order, I reached out to the recipient of the most recent order made in May 2024, who confirmed that the items in the gift basket do not reflect the $130 price paid. I strongly warn other customers to think twice before ordering from Gift Baskets Overseas. You might not get your money’s worth!
