Warning: Hidden fees and illegal tax calculation! (Suite DE20274) MyUS is engaging in deceptive billing and predatory pricing. For a package with a total value of $68.67 USD ($39.97 merchandise + $28.70 shipping), their system is demanding an astronomical $33.42 USD under the label of "German VAT". The legal German VAT rate under the EU IOSS system is 19%, which equals exactly $13.05 USD. MyUS is intentionally overcharging the tax by over 150% and pocketing the difference. When confronted, their customer service refused to adjust the error, claiming their IT system "cannot manually change taxes". Instead, they piled on predatory daily storage fees ($15.00 + $15.00 + $7.00 + $6.00 + $2.00) while holding my package hostage during an active dispute (contact since 5th July). This business has rightfully earned its F-Rating. I have officially reported Access USA Shipping, LLC (MyUS) to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC, Report #204982095) and the Florida Attorney General for fraud and international tax overcharging. Do not use this company!!! UPDATE: MyUS posted a generic template reply above, pretending to care about my satisfaction. In reality, they are still holding my package hostage, refusing to fix their illegal tax calculation, and continuing to demand over 50% tax. This copy-paste answer proves they are ignoring both their customers and the active investigations by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Florida Attorney General. Do not trust their fake apologies!
