I book a lot of Travelodge hotels and when you go through google often results will show Agoda is a few pounds cheaper so I book through them. Be warned that it never is once you factor in the "Taxes and fees" that only ever seem to be noted in the confirmation for booking email and there doesn't seem to be a set fee for this. It just always seems to take you slightly over what you would have paid on the Travelodge website direct. You will often find problems with check-in also and have had the receptionists try to tell me I haven't paid as doesn't seem to show up on their system. I have to go through the email and they eventually agree to handover the key. Has happened 3 times at the Chessington Hotel. Overall, just not really worth it more than any really horrible experience.
