Only had 2 experiences with Expedia. Once was for a VRBO rental (owned by Expedia) - turned out to be a total scam and ruined my holiday. Second was booking a rental car through them. Also got completely scammed by the rental company, and Expedia refused to give me my money back. Avoid at all costs.
