unfortunate experience
update as paypal confirmed they were the ones filing the disputes for the reimbursements. some backstory: I purchased extensions that did not match the website photos or description, and wanted to return them but it would cost $60+ to ship back (they do not cover shipping costs). I spoke with valerie and she said they would reimburse the shipping costs. return was delivered to them, and they refunded the extensions then Nicki asked for my paypal to send me the cost of the postage. later, they disputed the payment to me. I left a review here, they contacted me again and sent another payment as friends and family. again, it was disputed. I had to contact paypal as now I was not out only the costs of shipping, but over $40 in dispute and seller fees (they initially sent money as “goods and services” and later as “friends and family”). they disputed these with their banking institution as “not authorized” when they asked specifically for my information. I spoke with paypal twice and they covered the cost for me and reversed the fees, but confirmed that bellami was the one issuing disputes through their bank.
