100% a tourist trap that I would never use again. Tickets were significantly more expensive ($1095 for 5 bullet train tickets with rail ninja that would’ve cost $688 at the station). It’s very easy to get tickets from the station and if you’re desperate for a particular timed train there’s typically plenty of reserved seats available a few days prior to departure so you can just buy earlier.
