Applied for over 20 jobs, not a single job and a low 20% response rate.
I joined this for over a month and have not receive a single job. Most of the owners are not serious as they do not respond and in the end no one including me takes up the job! My guess is the jobs are fictitious and owners are just testing the app. I am sure I charge a fair rate, respond rate is fast but most owners don't even have the courtesy to respond. They also do not understand the concept of "stay overnight". When that happens, I have to sleep on a bed, use your kitchen, when they hear of this - the deal is off. I was open to charge them a higher cost if it is just a house visit, but they are not prepared to pay. Owners want the best of both worlds! One incident bugged me was an owner who I charge a fair rate because she lived nearby, she asked me to increase the rate as it was too low and inform me she will get back to me. She did not and I found out she is an experienced sitter so I assumed she is testing the market rate, even asked me which apartment I stayed in and like I said she even asked me to increase my fees! I flipped! I stopped my account and have since uninstalled the app. Informed Petbacker, but they claimed she is a legit pet owner.
