I highly recommend Care.com. With this platform, I was able to quickly see profiles on caregivers for my elderly and disabled mom. The extensive info and photos gave me very quick and easy insight into the person, their capabilities, experience, and reviews. I could reach out to schedule interviews easily. I only need a person for about an hour a day, M - F, so using Care.com saved the cost of minimum hours using a service that required more hours and more expense. I also have found that working with a service is just as time-consuming as working directly with an individual. If there are problems, it's still talking it and coming up with solutions. With Care.com, I do that directly with the caregiver. I hired a caregiver who has been outstanding so far. I'm very pleased.
