Sonos Inc.

Sonos tanking old equipment AGAIN!

Someone already bought this up. S1 DOESN'T WORK WITH S2. LITERALLY. bought a new beam 2. My old Sonos gear. Will not work at the same time. Sonos know this. Designed it. When beam2 is on and I try to use the old equipment. Update to S2 app. Which tanks the old equipment. They know it won't work. Went through hours and hours of useless troubleshooting with Sonos. All to be sent to a senior engineer that just gaslit me, shouted me down when I disagreed with him over what the issue is. It's Sonos' issue. Nothing here. It's not the power lead or ethernet cable. Lost it at this point. This is just a repeat of trying to tank old equipment so we have to buy new. Tried it a few years ago. But the backslash hit . Now it's rolling out to some long term users by the backdoor. Couldnt get it through a few years ago. So it's the new tactic. Make it too much grief to keep. Alongside abusive customer support. And yeh I sweared. Yeh I through gaslighting etc back at them . The equipment is great. The company. You cant trust them. If you have old equipment. Buy someone else's. Eventually they will just make it not work when you have new sonos. If they reply here. Don't trust a word of it. I have emails of, instead of trying to fix things personally. It's just attack attack attack. Then wahhhh when I give it back. Wish id never heard of Sonos. Edit after response. I'm aware that S2 dont work together, however S2 should not be making S1 equipment not work at all. The app in S1, shows upgrade to S2. Stopping any function of the old equipment. And with your response, showing it's intended. Sonos up to your old tricks, from my perspective few years ago. Anyone noticed they didn't even try to deny it. So buyer beware. Sonos will from my perspective be tanking our old equipment eventually. As they tried a few years ago.
