Works But There I A Lot Of Stuff They Dont Tell You
I never write a review until a product has completed the mission I bought it for.....in this case the EaseUS software. The key question is if the product works. The answer is YES.....it works extremely well. BUT, as the title suggests, there is a lot of stuff that they don't tell you. At the top of that list is the speed at which it operates. I had a hard drive with about 7.5tb of data that needed to be recovered. It took over THREE DAYS to do the initial scan. After that, the recovery went smoothly, but with write speeds in the KB range. It took 10 DAYS (yes, that is DAYS) to write about 3.8tb to the recovery disc. Just my opinion, but it would be nice if they give a heads up on how slow the process is. Tech support is equally slow. Why? Because it is in China, so forget about getting a same-day response. Not just that, but their techs don't answer questions. They seem to be schooled to protect the image of their company at all costs, and ignore things like how slow the process is. The interface is nowhere near as easy to use as they seem to think it is. And with poorly written instructions that omits key details, it complicates matters even further. Having said these things, would I buy it again? Yes, because it works--even if it is like working with a 14.4 modem once again. At least now if I have another catastrophy I will know what I am getting into.
