Confirmed cancellation, then charged again a month later

Confirmed cancellation, charged again a month later, refund refused I requested cancellation on June 16 and received written confirmation the same day that my request was received and escalated to their "Patient Advocate Team." No further action was described as needed on my end. On July 10, nearly a month later, they charged my card $159.90 anyway. When I disputed it, I got three different explanations in three separate emails. First, that my cancellation was being handled. Then, that I'd failed to click a separate "confirmation link" to finalize it, a step never mentioned in the original confirmation. The email explaining this even got its own dates wrong, claiming the link was sent a day before the email that actually contains it exists. To stop billing a second time, I was required to check a box stating I understood I would not receive a refund, just to complete a routine cancellation. I'm not the only one. A search of this company's BBB and Trustpilot history shows the same pattern repeated across other customers: confirmed cancellations followed by continued billing, and refunds refused on shifting technicalities. If you're considering this service, get everything in writing, take screenshots of every confirmation screen, and review your statement closely after any cancellation. Don't assume a confirmation email means the billing actually stops.
