Pleasantly surprised, product was delivered on time, very happy with my purchase, but useless customer service
In all honesty, I was extremely skeptical about placing an order after reading all the negative reviews about LaRedoute. However, I had seen a unique and beautiful table by AM.PM, exclusively designed for LaRedoute so I decided to purchase the piece of furniture. I contacted the customer service of LaRedoute Belgium and UK prior to my purchase, I wanted to know if the piece of furniture was flat packed and what the dimensions of the packaging were, as I needed the parcel to be forwarded by a second party shipping forwarding service because LaRedoute does not ship to the Netherlands. Response by email took long (1-2 days) and they couldn't answer my (simple and basic) question. In the meantime, I found the packaging information on laredoute.fr myself, strangely enough, this information was not available on any other LaRedoute website and I was surprised this information could not be provided by their customer service. After finalizing the order process, which went easy and without any problems, I was notified about all status updates regarding my parcel and the delivery was perfectly on time. The table is beautiful and very decently made, I'm very happy with my purchase. The moral of my experience: Satisfied, beautiful product and delivered perfectly on time. However, I can imagine based on the reviews below and based on my own LaRedoute customer service experience, if something goes wrong or you would like to return your item, with the help of their customer service, this could turn quickly into a nightmare.
