Let me start off with I am a retired PhD scientist who has built and sold multiple laboratory-based businesses. As with any online lab/results companies everyone should do their own research as there is a lot out of your control and you need to trust the company as your samples are evaluated. I did not know what to expect from Siphox but they are where I landed when looking at my options - one key factor being the lab certifications. I ordered the 360 kit and the Tiny gut health kit performed by their partner. Yes, as other reviews have indicated they are expensive but this kind of analysis/data is in fact expensive. Just look at Quest rates for purchased tests. Focusing on the Siphox 360 kit, I found the collection process incredibly well thought out. Probably the best I have seen from individual packaging and sequencing of materials all the way to return shipping. Everything was packaged logically and though I feel the instructions were very easy to follow they have a direct line to a live person to help you as needed. The collection was straightforward and not painful. Same non-existent “pain” if you use a lancet for glucose monitoring. My results came within their estimated time and the data reports are very detailed as are the action plans. I saw a couple of results I didn’t expect and found that an over the counter medicine I was taking can affect them so I ordered a less expensive focused kit for a redo and they came back in line with past results. I very much like getting my own reports and data, as well as their assessments, so I can discuss them with my doctor after I have reviewed them and formed my own questions. My last comment is on customer service which is of course important for new users considering Siphox. There are a few reviews indicating they are non-existent/not helpful. I had absolutely no problems with the kit so I didn’t need that customer support, but I did have 2 requests related to producing my reports for my doctor. Both were professionally responded to by customer service and addressed within 24hrs and they actually made a change to their reports for all users as a result with thanks for the feedback. Bottom line, my experience with Siphox has been excellent from start to finish and I would highly recommend them. I have not had the same experience with several other at home lab services.
