Fake website with fake item status.
One of the worst experiences. I placed an order for a Ray-Ban RX5228 Highstreet | 50 | Black Single Vision | Very Thin & Light (1.61) | and had included prescription lenses. While ordering, I checked the status of the frame and it said that it was “In stock”. However after placing the order, upon checking it keeps showing the “Stock is in transit”. Upon emailing the company’s customer service I received a response mentioning that the frame will be dispatched from one of its delivery centers to their location after which it will take 2-3 days to fit the prescription lenses. It has been over a week and until know the status shows “In transit”. I have sent multiple follow up emails to customer service without any response. It is obvious that the company was lying about the status of the item being “in stock”. If I had known it would take so long I would have never placed the order. In today’s age who can wait for 10-15 days for delivery? Totally ridiculous. I asked for a refund and received no reply. If you check the status of the item on their website it still shows it is in stock. They are obviously trying to lure customers by showing a false status. I would never recommend anyone to buy from this website. This an update to my review. if you see Michael's reply, it says there was some missing information in my prescription. If the company reads my review carefully, it is clear it has to do with the delay in delivery of the frame itself. As per the company's communication, they stated that the fame is in stock, whereas upon ordering I was told it will take 10-15 days to receive it after which they will fit the prescribed lenses. To reiterate, they are lying about the availability of frames in order to lure customers. It has nothing to do with the prescription. As per the company itself, the prescription process starts after the frame has been received at their store. Also if you see they have verified the orders of all positive reviews and not of the negative reviews. It is obviously a scam.
