I had lost my key for the battery…
I had lost my key for the battery removal and went for months just charging it on the bike. I feared high replacement cost, probably needing to contact the store and match serial numbers for a new key, etc. After a quick internet search (finally) I found out that I can't get a new key made, I had to buy a full replacement lock assembly. Great, I thought. This is going to be even more expensive that I had feared. Went to the Aventon site and found that the exact replacement was $20.99. What a pleasant surprise. Shipped right to my door and works perfectly. So, it turns out that I might be an idiot. Luckily Aventon is not.
