WORST and MOST UNETHICAL BANK From TRACY ONG CHEW HUI and senior treasury JOSEPH LOW from UOB
WORST and MOST UNETHICAL BANK I have seen in my life! My mother set up an account in UOB for her housing loan and shortly her client advisor Tracy Ong Chew Hui (she set up my mum’s account, she knows the money in the bank are meant to pay for the house) from UOB persistently approach her to do investment on a bond! My mum does not know English and we do not have much financial and investment knowledge, especially on bonds. This Tracy Ong Chew Hui brought her colleague Joseph Low and they misrepresented the bond and lied that this bond is special, with no maturity date, no transaction fee and no commission. She said my mum can sell the bond any time she wants, earn interest and not lose any money, since no fees. My mother trusted her and bought the bond. In the end, turns out to be a fraud and my mum’s hard earned money were lost!! My mum feedback this to UOB and instead of helping my mum, the Senior Head of Customer Care and Advocacy Gary Tan Thian Chai irresponsibly and defensively wrote a letter TWISTING FACTS that Tracy Ong Chew Hui said my mum is the one who said the money were spare cash, told Tracy Ong that she wants to find avenues to earn higher interest rate. The letter also states that Tracy Ong Chew Hui isn’t aware my mum need the money soon to pay for the house and said Tracy Ong Chew Hui did explained the transaction fee. WHICH IN FACT ARE NOT TRUE!!!! Gary Tan Thian Chai then use the standard documents for the transaction to blindly rebut my mum and said the bank will not pay any responsibility for this. This is how UOB and its employees treat customers!!!! Be careful everyone in setting up an account and putting your hard earned money in this bank!!!! There are lots of unethical and unprofessional conman in UOB who will find all means and ways to lie to you and cheat your hard earned money away to earn their commissions and meet their sales targets! Even UOB’s customer care will go against you when you are the victim from their fraud!! Very disappointed!!! I will give 0 star if there is this option!!!!!!!
