On September 1, 2026, I received an official email stating that my case was "closed" because they were "unable to proceed." However, when I contacted EL AL management directly, I discovered the truth: **EL AL had already transferred the full compensation payment to Flightright’s bank account back on July 31, 2026!** For over a month, Flightright held client funds while officially misinforming me that the case was closed and uncollectible. Had I not investigated directly with the airline myself, these funds would have remained unaccounted for in their system. Withholding client money, issuing false case closures, and providing automated template responses cross a line. Consider yourself warned — do not rely blindly on their status updates and always verify directly with the airline.
