Avoid DHGate – Buyers Are Not Protected
This was my first and definitely my last purchase on DHGate. I ordered a pair of shoes in US Size 14, but the shoes I received were clearly much smaller. To support my dispute, I submitted photos showing the received shoe next to my genuine US Size 13 shoe. Anyone can immediately see that the supposed US Size 14 is actually smaller than my US Size 13. Instead of objectively reviewing the evidence, DHGate simply dismissed my claim, requested additional proof after the dispute was opened, and decided to release the payment to the seller. This experience showed me that DHGate's dispute process does not protect buyers. It protects sellers, even when the evidence clearly indicates that the product received does not match the advertised description. After waiting weeks for delivery, receiving the wrong item, and then having my legitimate complaint rejected, I have completely lost confidence in this marketplace. There are many other online marketplaces that provide far better customer protection. I strongly recommend avoiding DHGate if you expect fair treatment when something goes wrong.
