They sell your info
I decided to give Angie's List a try for getting a house painter. They gave my name to five different painters and most of them got in touch with me right away. I was happy with the painter I chose. The reason why I gave this service two Stars is because they sell your information and you immediately start getting spam calls that go on and on for weeks at all hours of the day and night. I called somebody at Angie who had called me to see how things were going and she said she would have my name taken off the list. She did not deny that they do that. Hopefully the calls will stop soon. But I just cannot believe the amount of ridiculous spam calls that I'm getting for services I would never be interested in. I will never use the service again for that reason!
