Excellent Coverage of Hibs' Euro Adventures
First discovered SolidSport a couple of years ago. As I live at the other end of the country, trips to Edinburgh are few and far between so this is an invaluable tool helping me follow Hibs in European qualifiers and pre-season games. I had tech problems with the very first game I streamed, but SolidSport were easy to contact via the platform - even 'in-game' - and were able to resolve my issue, as well as compensate me with a free pass for the next game. Since then, no problems whatsoever. The picture and audio quality are comparable to network and sat TV broadcasts and the platform is extremely easy to use. I generally receive an e-mail a few days before a Hibs' stream, click the link, pay my £12 and I'm ready to go. You can also access the platform by searching SolidSport, although you will then have to log-in but this isn't onerous. Neither is the payment system. You can be watching the game within 30 seconds of clicking the link even if you leave payment to the last minute, although I tend to pay on the morning of the game and revisit via the link at kick-off. No buffering. No drop out. No fuss. And the platform is bonehead simple to access and navigate. The perfect way for geographically isolated Hibbees to follow the lads and witness some of the biggest moments of the season, ie the Euro qualifiers. This Thursday's final play-off game is huge with Hibs having a genuine chance of qualifying for the league stage for the first time. Sadly, if they do, I assume coverage of the league phase will revert to TNT. Shame. Still, SolidSport is a good service and one I would strongly recommend to other Hibbees unable to make the game.
