Dishonest and incompetent company
Dishonest and incompetent company. I previously reviewed Dresslily after reporting a bad experience with them and they reported my review after I provided my Help Ticket number to verify my purchase. They reported my review as not being genuine and got it taken down. So I am writing again. I purchased several items in October 2019. Some were not the right size so I requested a return. I followed their instructions and at my own cost sent the items back to the address given with the return code and sent a photograph of the reciept for proof. My refund never arrived in my back account so I questioned this in October last year. They insisted a bank transfer had occurred but asked for proof that it had never arrived. I obliged and sent screenshots of my bank account with no money coming in at all. They told me to check with my bank. I have and as thought no money has arrived and my bank can't do anything about it. The problem lies with DressLily. They then send over screenshots of transactions that they say proves that they have refunded me. None of the reference numbers correspond with any of my accounts and no refund has been received. I was patient at first but it became very clear that they were not going to refund the money. I have persisted since October 2019 and it is now February 2020. All they say is "talk to your bank" and refuse to help further. We go around in circles and they refuse to refund in spite of receiving my items back (this has never been disputed). I have no goods, no refund and have incurred costs of my own to send the clothing back in the first place, not to mention the hours spent wasting time talking to their customer service who are not prepared or capable of helping. The only thing I can do now is warn others to not use this company. I note that all their reviews are disabled on their social media, they set their social media so people cannot publicly post and they report people's genuine bad reviews on Trustpilot to get them taken down.
