Parcel was over-valued, corrected when appealed. Parcel was over-weighed considerably. They showed, and charged for, 2#. It was a drivers license in an envelope! I had to consent to an $8 inspection fee to get it corrected. It was re-weighed and corrected, inspection fee rightfully waived. Charged $2 for an envelope, none provided. The letter was simply tossed into a Smallbox. Even with the false $2 surcharge, the total cost was $16 less than MYUS initially attempted to charge had I not placed a hold on the shipment, and jumped through hoops to get it corrected. Always place your shipments on Hold so you can verify their assessments, as frequently they commit significant errors. Difficult to say if they do this out of incompetence or criminality. as it is always exorbitantly in their favor.
