Unethical and Untrustworthy Company
Good idea, putrid company, disgusting customer service. When sellers commit fraud, they never lift a finger to help. I was sold a $600 music keyboard that stopped working as soon as I got home. It's circuitry was old and fried, the seller had cheated me. Carousell offered no help whatsoever. Another vendor sent me the wrong item and refused to allow a return and Carousell inexplicably took their side. This company is disgusting, it's pages are full of crooks and they take no responsibility for the fraud they are hosting on their website.
Negligent Company, Idiotic Customer Service
Lost an inexpensive but unreplaceable part during transport. Driver would not reply when I asked him to check. The piece was definitely there. Customer service was infuriatingly unhelpful, making idiotic suggestions like I should file a police report. They said they were unable to contact the driver...?! This is why these monopolistic gig companies need to be shut down. They can't compel drivers to do a simple thing like answer a lost-item question because they are not officially their employees, (to avoid paying them properly,) and they leave customers with no recourse.
Reasonable Prices but Inaccurate Seller/Product Ratings
Reasonable prices for goods from Chinese factories. One problem is that when a product is faulty (which is pretty frequent) and you return it, you are not allowed to review the product so that other consumers can be warned. This results in inaccurately positive reviews for products, where the only reviews (genuine or not) are positive, but the people who had to return merchandise are not allowed to make their voices heard.
