Tired off all the useless discounts...
I like Agoda. They are usually my go-to place for looking for hotels. What is really getting on my nerves lately is all these useless coupons they keep offering, and all the miss matched pricing between the App and Desktop. I find it to be very missleading. What's wrong with just saying This is the best price we have? Most people, I think, would appreciate that. I'm trying to find a hotel in London at the moment, which are expensive, so any discount I can find would be useful, so I've applied some coupons etc. and nothing. It's a waste of my time. I like the Cash Reward program but that is hard work too. I have to wait 2 months before I earn the cashback, and then I only have a short time to use it. It's very anti customer and I don't see the point. Just be trustworthy and offer a straight up price without all the phaff. That would be much better at building trust with customers. Also it would be nice if they included the full price instead of adding the taxes and other stuff at the end. It's so frustrating. There's no need to do it that way. Just show people what they are going to pay per night right from the start. Again I think this is to dupe people into thinking they are paying for a room in their price range, only to find out later that it's gonna cost more. It's all just bad practice in my opinion.
