Superprof need to do better.
I was looking for a an art tutor for my daughter, there were a few matches and I settled on the one that fitted what we wanted. I really should have read the small print though! I feel that the ‘ subscription’ free was misleading. It said that you would only be charged if you were matched. How ever what it should say is that you will be charged for the month as soon as a tutor m’accepte your message request- Whether you decide to go with them or not. Once I realised this I immediately unsubscribed before I could be charged again. I later found out my tutor does not see any of the £38 I was charged. It is purely for allowing you access to the tutors on their system. Luckily the tutor that replied ended up being lovely and we went with her, but I felt like it was all on her merit and nothing to do with any filtering, fact or qualification checking on superprofs part. They need to do better.
