Got there in the end
UPDATE = They eventually arranged for it to be repaired in the UK, sent it off and got it back roughly 2 weeks later. Had the scooter nearly 2 years now and it came with a 2 year warranty, it was a great scooter while it lasted and my son was very pleased. About 5 months ago it stopped working and AOVO's response was to send parts and expect you to fix it yourself which is fine when its something like a mud guard or handle bar but when none of this solved the initial problem which is blantanly electrical they expected me to determine the fault myself and then take the electrical components apart including the motherboard and the wiring which is glued and soldered in place and replace those parts like I'm some sort of electronics expert, whenever I suggested they fix it or replace it as its under warranty they would play dumb or ignore me, or suggest other random parts they expect me to install. I personally think they were just delaying me until the warranty comes to an end which is soon, When I replace it it will be with a different brand, avoid AOVO at all cost as if any problems arise they'll do FA to solve the problem other than wind you up more with there nonsense if you even get a response.
