Unexpected Charges & Incorrect Advice Costing Me Hundreds
I was wrongly advised through live chat to purchase two trademark names to cover my brand. I then paid extra to speak with an attorney through their platform, only to be told that I did not need to purchase both after all. I requested a refund, but they only issued a partial refund, meaning I lost hundreds of dollars. The process was also far from easy, as they required me to call them, which is costly if you are outside the US. To make matters worse, I was charged $200 yesterday for a trademark monitoring subscription that I never agreed to. Their service is supposed to make the trademark process easier, but in my experience, it does the opposite. It feels like dealing with a cheap airline that adds endless extras in order to squeeze more money out of customers. I now have to wait until I can speak to someone on live chat to try to recover this unexpected $200 charge, but every time I have tried, no one has been available.
