Unethical Practice by an profit driven US company.
My husband died some time ago and I have one live e-mail to deal with his affairs. Betterhelp have managed to acquire this and continue to bombard me with how wonderful they are. Do not use them. I am a Counsellor/Phsychotherapist and I do not have a high opinion of their practices. I haverepeatedly e-emailed direct and told them this and unsubscribed but still receiving e-mails. This is abuse from a profit driven organisation, supposedly supporting their staff in expected professional Ethical Practice. Betterhelp do not act ethically and this is just one of the examples that I know about but I can report as it directly affects me. This is impacting on my own emotions in a time of grief and a Counselling organisation is damaging my Mental Health!!!! UK accrediting bodies are starting to take court action against US insurance companies for bad practice because of the loss of any morals in how they treat staff and customers. Find a Counsellor direct, save money and be offered safe, ethical practice from a decent human being who does the job because they want to help and happen use it to earn enough money but not for shareholders!!!!!
