So angry about these pans!
So angry about these pans! Bought the set of 3 frying pans and a wok. From the reviews I’d read, I felt confident these were going to be worth the big expense and last a long time. Hey, they have a lifetime guarantee after all. First month or so they were amazing. Felt like professional cookware. Followed the instructions by the book. Had excellent results cooking steak etc. Unfortunately after a while the food residue starts to build up. It’s incredibly infuriating reading Hexclad responses to these reviews telling people ‘just give them a deep clean with a soft sponge’. That’s the problem - there’s no shifting the stains and build up. It doesn’t matter if I leave them to soak in hot water for an hour, it doesn’t matter if I scrub and scrub and scrub with a flipping sponge for an hour after that. IT WONT COME OFF. Now they are beyond useless. Forget cooking eggs. Everything sticks - fish skin ruined etc. I am more than a little cheesed off to put it politely. Do not tell me ‘cook at a low temperature’ or ‘use some oil’ - I have done so, by the book. The issue is these pans simply won’t clean up after daily use. A soak and soft sponge is not cutting it. Furious 😡
