Will change agent if there is one that provides better service
Have been using CJ for half a year now. Find it very difficult to scale with them. 1. Shipping times - Tested a few orders and Aliexpress order can arrive faster than CJ shipping. They are not able to uniformly ship faster or solve shipping times as what their motto states. Some orders will take about a month to arrive from China to the US. You will need to manually track your orders to ensure that shipping, or you will face angry customers. 2. Returns and refunds - Aliexpress has a much better returns and refunds policy; their time frame is much longer than CJ. CJ's policy is a meagre 3 days for normal items and 7 days for electronic items. Beyond this, sellers will need to take the loss for defective items. 3. Customer service - Their shared agents are so overloaded with accounts that they are not able to respond effectively. 4. Prices - They claim to be able to beat Aliexpress's prices. Well this is true about 40-50% of the time when they are able to source the items. About 20-30% of the time, they are not able to source the products. 5. Stocking of inventory - Be prepared to take at least 1-3 months from you paying to them stocking the inventory. The quickest is 1 month plus with monitoring and prodding. CJ wants their customers to scale and and place volume orders with them with their membership tiers. My question to CJ is how to with unreliable service and spotty shipping times? The only pro is that they have a 24/7 chat service. At the very least, they should live up to their claim of fast shipping times. Their system should also be able to at least track packages that have delayed shipping and follow up on these instead of requiring customers to track manually. The other pro is that they seem to package their items really well as customers have commented that the items are well packaged.
