Durability Issues - Stopped Working In Less Than 1.5 Years

I rated Sonos a 2 instead of a 5 because of their policy on defective products. I’ve had the Sonos Beam generation 1 since April 2025 and it’s stopped connecting to my wifi so I can no longer get updates. I worked with Sonos trouble shooting, and purchased a second Ethernet cord for them to two different reps to determine that the device is defective. Instead of replacing the device that’s less than 1.5 years old and has been mounted in my TV since the day Best Buy delivered and installed it, Sonos policy requires that I ship the device back to Sonos so they can send me a 30% off coupon instead of simply replacing the defective device they pushed to market. Sonos expects me to spend my time and gas to return a device back to them for a coupon. Not a replacement device - a coupon. Needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing another SONOS bean or any other products from this company. I will be returning to Samsung and should have kept the Samsung sound bar I had that was still working perfectly after 15 years. While the Sonos sound is impeccable, if the product you receive ends up being defective after less than two years of use, and your warranty is up, the only solution that Sonos offers customers that have spent a few thousand on their product is to purchase the same product from them. Sonos has no sense of customer loyalty or accountability. I’m going back to Samsung for the durability. Sonos has some serious work to do.
